Dusti was discovered trying to cross a county road. She was severely emaciated, matted and dirty, she was barely even able to stand. Her gender and breed were initially difficult to determine. Since we have had her she has filled out and is regrowing her fur, after having to be shaved to the skin. She is extremely bright and playful, she talks a LOT, and has not seemed to have had any previous training in anything. Due to her malnutrition, her age is difficult to determine. She enjoys soft fluffy squeaky toys that she can throw by herself. She makes an effort to potty outside, but still has accidents in the house and in her crate. However, she has made massive progress from day one. She has discovered that she likes to be held like a baby, and will give kisses all day long. She's just so happy to be alive.
