Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Say hello to Hendrix, one of our new rescue arrivals! This 11-month old terrier mix puppy is quite handsome and sweet. Due to some experiences in his past, Hendrix has become quite fearful of the outside – walking can be a challenge as he can cower or stop dead in his tracks when he feels startled – but Hendrix will be more than happy to let you carry him the rest of the way, as he loves to be picked up and held! Because of his fear when outdoors, Hendrix is very much a “flight risk”, and will need to be 100% leashed at all times for his safety, as even a bird rustling in a tree nearby could be enough to spook him and send him on his way. However, Hendrix is a loyal, lovely boy who is very sweet with people, and with continued training he can increase his bravery with new situations. Because of his flight risk status, Hendrix would do best in a home without young children, but would do just fine in a home with the young-at-heart!
Hendrix is fully vetted, neutered, and microchipped.
