Jesse and Wyatt's Story...
Jesse and Wyatt are 9-year old brothers who are sweet and friendly and looking for their forever home, again. The beginning of their lives was happy when they were living with a family. But the family broke up because of a divorce and neither person wanted to take the kitties. The brothers lived alone in an empty house with someone coming occasionally to feed them. When the house sold, the kitties were homeless until a very kind older couple opened their home and adopted them. Of this couple, the man has since died and the woman in now going into a nursing home. So again the brothers are living in an empty place, being cared for by the couple's daughter who comes to feed them. At this point in their lives, they really deserve a forever home. They are very healthy and have just been checked out by a Veterinarian. They are very affectionate cats who would dearly love to be taken in together and share their affection and great dispositions with humans who will appreciate them.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jesse and Wyatt, a Colmar Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
