Rocky's Story...
Rocky is a 7 year old neutered ShihTzu/Pitbull mix. He is such a sweetheart. He is a relaxed little man but is currently fighting a severe skin infection. We are so excited to see his personality develop once he begins to feel better! Rocky does a great job with being house-trained! He is very smart - he knows how to sit, come, and walk nicely on a leash! Rocky loves to cuddle up in blankets and snuggle with you. Rocky used to live with other dogs and did pretty well! Children who are older than 6 years or so may be a good fit for Rocky. He is such a gentle and loving boy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rocky, a Michigan City Shih Tzu/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Michigan City, or seeking a Shih Tzu/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Michigan City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Michigan City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Michigan City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Shih Tzu/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Michigan City paves the way for another one to be saved.
