Jake-ADOPTION PENDING's Story...
Hey, my name is Jake and if you are looking for a fun boy I am the dog for you. I am a 1 1/2 year old, male, 7 lbs, white and chocolate, good with dogs, men and women. I chase cats but only because I am curious. My favorite thing to do is wrestle around with my dog friends and snuggle with my family. I am a really good boy and cute as can be. A home with a fenced in a yard would be best for me. I get nervous around young children and can get a bit nippy so a home with older kids is a must. Jake is up to date on all shots, heart worm negative, on heart worm preventative, microchiped, de-wormed, and neutered. Jake’s adoption fee is $250.00. WE DO NOT ACCEPT PERSONAL CHECKS. Out of state adopters are responsible for arranging transport, WE DO NOT SHIP DOGS. For events calendar and adoption application please go to our website at aaprescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jake-ADOPTION PENDING, a Bridgeton Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Bridgeton, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Bridgeton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bridgeton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bridgeton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bridgeton paves the way for another one to be saved.
