My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meisha is a cuddly and kissy girl. She loves people, is playful with other dogs, and inquisitive with the kitty cats. She is small weighing only 7.5 pounds. She doesn't pull on leash but is a "weaver" on walks. She has a low-moderate amount of energy as she loves to cuddle but also enjoys playing chase and fetch. Meisha has overcome injuries and has come a long way in her wonderful foster home. She is looking for a forever home that will show her patience to help her reach her full potential. She is crate trained and is working on potty training. She can be skittish with strangers but warms up quickly. Meisha can be protective of food and treats which is something else a patient owner can help her work through.

Meisha is a long-haired Chihuahua-Dachshund mix burn ~August 2014.

Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
