ADOPTION PENDING Face is a 10 to 12 week old lab mix. Him and his brothers were found in a cardboard box. One of our volunteers saw the box and saw a coyote checking out the box. When she stopped her car the coyote ran off. She went to check out the box and it had four little scared puppies in it. These babies are very lucky she happened upon them like she did. They have had two rounds of shots and will be ready to adopt after their neuter surgery on October 24th. $100 to adopt. If interested please fill out an adoption app at

About Cleveland Area Pound Pals

About Our Rescue Group...

Cleveland Area Pound Pals, C.A.P.P., is a group of area citizens working together with law enforcement, city entities, and local vets, to make our area a more informed and responsible pet ownership community. We pull dogs directly out of the city pound after their stray hold is up and place them in foster homes until they find their forever homes. We also promote spay/neutering and have hosted low cost spay/neuter clinics in our community to bring awareness. Our goal is to place every dog that comes into our system into a loving forever home and to give the new family all the info they need to help their new family member succeed.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We are a volunteer based rescue and most of our dogs are in foster care so if you are interested in meeting one of our adoptables please email or call us. You can call us at 918-845-2990

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fees are usually $100 but are lower during holiday seasons. The fee covers on adult dogs: rabies vaccine, deworming, shots, heartworm testing, and spay/neuter. On puppies: two rounds of shots, deworming and spay/neuter. Pups 6 months and older get their rabies vaccine and heartworm test as well. Our adoption process is fairly simple and straight to the point. There is an adoption application that you fill out on our website. Once we receive your app we then contact your vet if you have a vet reference. Once we hear from your vet then we contact you with any questions or concerns or to schedule a time for us to come out to your home and meet you. We call this a homecheck, but it mainly consists of checking out your yard to make sure it is a safe secure environment for your new pet. You are contacted later on that day to let you know if you are approved or not and then we schedule a time for you to come pick up your new family member.
