Rocky is a long-legged, lean dog who is 40 pounds and is approximately 5 1/2 years old. We are not certain of his breed, but our vet thought he could be a hound/lab mix. Rocky's favorite thing to do is cuddle and be with his people. He has so much love to give! He would probably prefer to be the only dog in the home, although he is currently doing well with the other dog in the foster home. Rocky isn't the biggest fan of a kennel and loves to be with his people much of the time. He is housetrained and loves to go for walks. Rocky does seem to have some anxiety and protectiveness issues, but we are working on building his confidence and providing reassurance. Rocky needs positive reinforcement to know he and his caretakers are safe. Rocky will need to go to someone who is very responsible, patient, and dog-savvy to help him adjust and succeed. He will need a home with no young children.
Rocky is vet-checked, neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. Call Amanda at 218-290-7289 to meet Rocky in his foster home. His adoption fee is $200. (AG)
