My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My foster mom says that I’m a little chocolate drop, 22 pounds of sweetness, and I guess I got my name, TinkerBell, because I look like a pixie.

I’m a good citizen: I don’t chase the cat, I’m house trained, I know how to use a doggy door, I get along with other dogs, and I like children, as long as they treat me kindly. I will sit for treats, and I may know other tricks but my foster mom hasn’t tested me much.

I’m ten years old, but I can lie about my age because you’d never guess it. I act like a puppy! My hearing and vision are good for ten, and I’m smart as a whip.

I am wiggly tailed when I’m happy, and I’m happy all the time; I love walks with my foster brother even though he drags me along when I am not finished sniffing. (He is a faster sniffer than I am!) We go for walks every day, and I sometimes point out pecans in the road because foster mom will shell them for me when we get back home.

I love to play with toys—tearing the stuffing out of them is fun but foster mom won’t buy me any more of those. Now I’m confined to hard rubber balls and indestructible items.

I talk to my foster mom a lot, but she doesn’t know what I’m saying-- she needs a little more training herself.

Somebody better adopt me quickly because she is spoiling me rotten. She lets me sleep on the bed, and she doesn’t crate me ever because I am well behaved.

Come meet me! I know we will be great friends!

xoxoxo,
Tinkerbell
