My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

REBEL is a 12 year old neutered chocolate male Lab who weighs 72 pounds. : Rebel is a handsome and well traveled gentleman looking for his forever home! He is good with dogs and cats. He is a very pleasant and happy boy. He is definitely house trained. No kid history so approved for kids 10+.

Update:: Rebel has two requests: someone to pet him and someone to snuggle with. Not only is he good with dogs, he's also good with cats. Can you imagine waking up to this face every day? That would make my heart explode. If you want to meet Rebel and free up a foster home for another needy senior dog at the shelter, please ask about this gentleman.

Update: Rebel is a super mellow 12 year old chocolate boy. He loves getting attention and affection from his humans and thinks meeting new people with hands to pet him is just the best. Rebel likes to lounge on his bed or snooze in his crate when his human's aren't home. He does not need a fenced yard and can be trusted to stick close to his human when off leash. Occasionally he will show his puppy side and chase a ball or two!

Update: Rebel is now fully into the routine at his foster home. He knows the ropes and is happy to follow the schedule with the two resident dogs. He's even moved into the "crate room" with the resident dogs and they all happily hang out in their crates when their humans aren't home. Rebel is also getting better at taking treats gently. He is overall a mellow, happy boy who just wants to mosey around and love on his people.

Update: Rebel is a lovable 12 year old, looking for a great forever home to spend his golden years. He is a mellow boy who is happy to hang out and relax with his people. He crates well and rides great in the car. Rebel can be trusted to stay close to his people while off leash in the yard. He loves nuzzling his face into his humans laps when they come home from work to make sure they know how much he loves them! He even greets everyone with a sweet smile! He would love to have his forever family for the holidays!

Update: Rebel is a sweet 12 year old boy. He is great with the resident dogs in his foster home and he happily greats his people at the door each time they come home. He loves leisurely walks around the yard. Rebel's favorite thing to do when he sees his people after a long work day is to simply walk over and nuzzle his head into their lap as if to say "hold me, I've missed you" while he happily wags his tail. This boy still has lots of love to give.

Update: Rebel is a sweet, handsome, wonderful 12 year old chocolate boy. He is a super snuggler who loves being around his people. He does well with the resident dogs and is approved for cats! Rebel can also be trusted to stay close to his people in the yard while on leash. He is house trained and will happily hang out in his crate when his people aren't home.

Update: Rebel is a sweet 12 year old chocolate boy, and his demeanor could not be more different than his name suggests. Rebel is a perfect gentlemen and is doing great in his foster home. He gets along well with the resident large and small dogs and is unfazed by the cat. He rides great in the car and sleeps like a baby through the night. He is a laid back boy and does well in both chaos and quite time in the house. Rebel is house trained and doesn't mind his crate. He will even go in there and lay down on his own if he's tired.
