Meet Max!
Max is a 4 year old Redbone Coonhound mixed with... something. Boxer, maybe? His momma wasn't telling. ;)
Max needs a cat-free home, but he's good with dogs (if you have an existing dog, a meet and greet is needed to make sure that the chemistry is right!) and he's great with kids!
Max does bark at strangers... and then gives them kisses. He's just a goofy, friendly guy!
He's also completely house trained! He does pull on a leash, but that can be fixed with a bit of training and some yummy treats to reward good behavior.

Max is a powerful boy and sometimes gets possessive of his toys, for that reason we suggest he go to a home with no small children.

Max has been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and has tested neg. for heartworm which is included in the $75 adoption fee. If you would like to adopt this dog, you must come into the shelter for a meet and greet. We are open 12-4. (Closed Mondays & Wednesdays)
