UPDATE: As of 6/21/07 Oscar is HW free!!! Yeah, now he is ready to find a forever home with children or other dogs to entertain him...he LOVES to play. He is a lovebug and full of energy.
Oscar is a 16 pound ball of LOVE. He was surrendered by his owners to the local animal shelter with a note that said he is great with kids and is house trained. He is about 1.5 years old and unfortunately is HW positive and will need to be treated before he finds his new home. Poor guy has a bis under bite which makes some people thing he is mean...but the truth be known he has NOT a mean bone in his body. Oscar loves to eat ans is also crate trained. He likes to be outside with company but prefers the good life inside!!
ARF is always in need of funds especially with the dogs we save from the local animal control facilities because most people surrender their pets due to health problems. ARF is dedicated to saving lives and worries about finances later...however we do have to postpone Heartworm treatment sometimes due to a lack of funds. This in no way jeopardizes the dogs health but slows down the time for them to find a new and forever home. All donations toward doggies are tax deductible.
