Betsy's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Betsy's Story...
I am a girl in search of love. A person of my own and a place that I can call home. Is that asking too much? I am a sweet little girl, I sure deserve it. I am soft natured and submissive, and I get along well with other dogs, cats, and respectful children 5+. Life has been hard so far, and I need some peace and quiet to help me feel safe and secure. I am already crate trained and housebroken, too. I have a gentle personality, am loyal as can be, and am very eager to please…I just need to find a family that is loving and gentle—that shouldn’t be too hard to find, right? 5 years old-80lbs. My adoption fee is $180 and includes spay, microchip & registration, reduced-cost training class, 1 month pet health insurance, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Portland Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Portland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
