My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This companion animals name is Forge. Forge is an English Labrador that is 110 pounds. This big guy is a very loving, sweet dog. He has always gotten along with all animals and people. He is very patient with children and enjoys kind kids. He loves attention and loves to talk. He originally belonged to a Park Ranger in Thurston County who was killed on the in the Line of Duty. This left poor Forge a drift. He has bounced from home to home and now he needs to find his real match. He loves constant attention and does not like to stay outside unless he has company. His current care spot has other smaller dogs and cats and he gets along great with them. The kittens think his tail is a toy and play with it all the time, he doesn't mind it at all. He loves to eat, so instead of leaving food out for him, we feed him twice a day. He's not a picky eater. We love him and hate to have to re home him, but it's not fair to him to not get exercise and attention he deserves. He is 10 years old and is very athletic and loves go places and be with his people. He needs a home that has time for him and that can give him the attention he craves. He will need some refresher training on some of his skills but knows basics. Forge has spent much of his last few years drifting around to homes that were not committed to his forever home. He needs someone that can give him that “total love and commitment” home, he tragically lost years ago. House broken, neutered, current shots, chipped. Fenced yard and no children under 5 years. Go to our application at http://www.rescueeverydog.org/Adoption.php if you would like to apply to adopt. Mandatory fenced yard. No apartments. Some Condos and homes with a private use fenced yard maybe considered. No children under 5 years of age. Adoption donation for this companion animal is 150.00. Donations cover some of the care costs for R.E.D. animals.
