Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rooney was an emaciated boy from the animal shelter with a broken pelvis and road rash. Well it took some time but he was finally healthy enough to be neutered today and he is now ready to find a forever home! It took meds to get him thru the upper respiratory infection, a few dewormings and consistent feedings but he finally started to gain weight and is now up to a still slim 67 pounds. He has the occasional hitch in his giddyup because of the old break but it doesn't slow him down one bit and he gets around great. Rooney is crate trained, quiet, very sweet and he gets along with almost all other dogs. There were just a couple of pushy, dominant males over the last few weeks that made him defensive. He has lived with small dogs and he did well during his cat test. He is only about 3 years old and his mild mannered, easy going personality would make a wonderful addition to a myriad of different homes.
