My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jip is a busy little guy looking for someone who can keep up with his boundless energy. He may be a small dog and enjoys lap time but he also needs to go on long walks daily. Jip enjoys playing fetch which will also be a great outlet for his high energy. He likes the company of little dogs and would make a great playmate for a fun loving dog like himself. Jip can be wary of strangers and will need someone who will commit to socializing him better with people he doesn't know. This can easily be done by taking him on outings regularly, introducing him to people and rewarding him every time he does well. He just needs some confidence building so as not to become so fearful of strangers, which could lead to aggression issues if not dealt with now. It will be mandatory that Jip be signed up for positive based obedience classes before his adoption can be finalized. He is a terrier mix, so he is a very smart and strong willed little guy. This means he needs a lot of structure in his life so he knows what to expect, dogs like him thrive better with constant, positive guidance. Once Jip knows you though, he is an affectionate little guy who prefers not to spend a lot of time alone.
