Sierra is currently living in a foster home in Madison, Wisconsin.
Sierra is so happy to finally be able to get her name listed on Adopt-A-Pet. It has been a long road to get to this point. Sierra was pregnant when she joined us. She had 7 beautiful puppies and was a great mother. All of her pups have found their forever, loving homes. After Sierra had found homes for all her pups, she lost her foster home and had to go into boarding for a short time. Once another foster home was found it was time to treat Sierra's heartworms. After she was treated she had to wait another 30-60 days to be retested to see if they were gone. Today Sierra found out she was HW negative! This 3 year old sweet girl is a perfect size, just about 30 pounds. She is a bundle of energy and LOVES to play and run. Sierra is also known as Houdini. If left to her own devices she will figure out a way to escape the yard and go on an adventure. Her forever family will need to have a very secure yard and will need to spend time with Sierra when she is outside. This little lady is very good with other dogs and kids and loves to cuddle and be loved on. She is just a sweet, loving girl that wants a family of her own.
The adoption process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit and a meet and greet. Please note that preference is given to adopters in Wisconsin, but out of state adoptions will be considered. Adoption fee is $250.
