MEET BILLY !!
This shy mellow little guy is just two years old. Billy is a pure bred Maltese. He was owned by a breeder who moved out of her brother's house. Took the mom and pups. And left him behind. Billy was all matted when we got him so our groomer shaved him down. He already has nice fresh clean white peach fuzz growing in. And there were no matts or tangles on his face or ears so he looks like a little lion !! Billy is non shedding and hypoallergenic. He has never felt so good !! He rubs his little body everywhere. Billy is shy at first. But quickly warms up and just want to cuddle on the sofa or bed with you.
Billy needs a great new owner that understands Maltese need to be combed and brushed through to maintain their coat. Matting comes with neglect.
Billy is neutered, microchipped and up to date on all vaccines. He is also crate trained and will put himself in his crate. He is a little cuddle bug at night. Either on your pillow or under the covers. Billy is a little shy with strangers. He needs a calm peaceful, mellow home. He is just fine with other dogs and cats. A home with another dog or two would be great. He likes to play once he knows them and he's comfortable.
Please tell us a little about yourself, lifestyle, activity level, your home, and any other dogs or kids in the house. We think Billy would be great in a home with other dogs. But he could also be spoiled rotten as an only dog. He is great with cats as well. Older children only please. Billy is on a premium grain-free limited ingredient kibble consisting of salmon & sweet potato. When you see Maltese with the red tear stains in the corners of their eyes, red swollen feet and red around their tail and butt. That is food allergies. Normally from chicken.

All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, dewormed, licensed, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Also included is a free health check by our licensed veterinarian. The dogs that come out of our program are very well socialized when they leave, both with people, and other dogs. It is up to the new owners to maintain this. All of our dogs, young and old are crate trained. This gives the new owner a head start for house breaking, and to curb any separation anxiety and or destructive behavior. Most of our dogs are in foster homes and we are able to tell you lots about each of their personalities. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An adoption fee, application, and contract are required.
