Teela is a sweet girl who was born outdoors on the Norfolk Naval Base. Before she could live very long without food, care or love, she was scooped up by dedicated volunteers and put on the path to a better life. Teela was named after a fictional goddess, and her regal beauty lives up to her name. Her gorgeous black coat is accented by a tiny tip of white at the end of her tail, as if she were the night sky with one lone star. Teela is sweet but shy, having begun her domestication a little later than most kittens. That said, earning her love is incredibly rewarding. She loves dangly toys, soft treats and softer fleece. She would love the company of another kitten (Cookies, adoptable through BTKR, was one of her best friends) and might even be okay hanging out with a cat savvy, low key dog.

We ask for a minimum adoption fee of $100, which includes her neuter, rabies vaccine, 1st FRCVP shot, worming, and flea preventative, food, litter, and other medical treatment while in our care. This amount is BELOW our actual cost to do all of these things and we make no money on adoptions. He is fully vetted and can go home at the completion of a successful Meet n Greet with Foster approval, pending payment of adoption fee and possible home inspection.
