Here's what the humans have to say about me:
My name is Jackie. I am a very cute red Chihuahua mix, my foster mom says she thinks I am mixed with dachshund. My foster mom says I have the prettiest eyes she has seen on a dog. They are a unique golden color and huge. I am already spayed. I’m also current on my vaccines. I came from a hoarding situation and was taken to PACC where I was very scared. I was kenneled with three of my sisters, after two of my sisters were adopted my foster mom decided I needed a place to be comfortable. I was scared with all the dogs barking and so many people walking by, especially since I had just been taken from my home. I’m still a little unsure of my foster home, but my foster siblings have been nice and shared their bones and toys. I like to play with my foster brother but I am a little bigger than he is, so he is not sure how to play with me. I am not sure I want a cat sibling, I like to chase them while barking. I like to follow my foster mom around where ever she goes. I am still unsure of being petted when you walk towards me, but have come so far in such a short time my foster mom thinks I will be an outgoing social butterfly soon!!! If you sit down I will come lay next to you for pets. I am not a fan of the crate and I have convinced my foster mom to let me sleep in bed under the covers with her. My foster mom is so excited because I am potty trained! I go outside and if she isn’t home and I really need to go I will use the puppy pads. My foster mom is still getting to know me and will let you know more about me when she knows. My foster mom thinks I need someone with some patience, but is sure when I find my forever home it won’t take long for me to settle in and bond. I think I would like a brother or sister and wouldn’t mind older children who understand I need some time to warm up to them.
