Hiwa's Story...
UPDATE:This handsome boy is turning into a beautiful blue tabby color. He has an amazing personality and is just a sweet and curious boy. He is a favorite of the children as he allows them to tote him around and explore. This little one is tiny and finally ready for his forever home! Welcome to rescue itty-bitty little guy. Hiwa was found astray with his brother and is a 4 week old baby. It's far too cold to be wandering alone and he is happy to have a warm bed and full tummy! This sweet boy will be ready for a forever home soon. If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Adoption fee is $50 with a mandatory neuter contract.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hiwa, a Minot American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Minot, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Minot.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Minot already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Minot breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Minot paves the way for another one to be saved.
