Meet my little buddy Murray! Murray came to us from a high kill shelter in Philadelphia, and he was rescued with just hours to spare! Murray was scared at the shelter, but in a home he is the happiest most active guy. He is approx. 1-2 years old. Murray is still a puppy, so he is still working on basic commands and handling. Murray has some issues with handling, primarily when being picked up. He is working through his issues in foster care but will need a patient owner. Just like all puppies, his attention span is a little short, but he just loves attention. He does very well with our other dogs, and just adores our cats! He will play with anybody who is willing to play with him. He almost house-trained and is working on his crate-training. Murray needs a home that will make him feel safe, have a playmate, human, canine, or feline. He can get pretty excited, and enjoys a good run around the yard. He is also good at playing with his toys by himself if nobody else is interested. This guy knows how to have fun. He is a little dynamo about 10-12lbs. His breed is a mystery. He is most definitely a mutt! He is current on his vaccinations, hw negative, chipped and neutered. Murray will only be adopted to a home with children ages 14 and up. He is ready for his forever family to find him, finish his training, and love him as much as he will love them back. He is always ready for a good snuggle, and some lap sitting. So if you're looking for a lively, loving addition to your family, then Murray is your man!

Our Adoption Process...

PLDP's number one goal is the successful placement of pets into their forever homes. Our process is designed to ensure the best adoption match for our pets and your family.

Families interested in adopting a pet should fill out the adoption application at www.pldpaws.org and email it to pldpaws@gmail.com. A PLDP representative will review your application and respond to you within 48 hours. After your application is processed, a time to meet your new fur friend can be scheduled. PLDP also requires home visits for all applicants. This visit can be done at the time of the meet or at a separate time. If you have any questions regarding our adoption process, please feel free to contact us.
