Morgan's Story...
10-23-16 Morgan is a sweet and amazing dog even though he's lived most of his life on a chain. He seems well socialized and was often around small children and other dogs when he was chained.
He's now living at the rescue and has a large fenced area where he happily lives with another dog. He is around 55 lbs and agile enough to go over a 6' fence, though as long as he had people in a yard with him, I don't think he would want to.

He's 2-3 yrs old, now neutered, mirochipped and up to date on vaccines. He is heartworm positive, though it's early enough he shows no symptoms and the rescue will pay for his treatment.

Please go to our website and fill out an application
www.northmeckanimalrescue.org

Our adoption fee $150 includes spay/neuter, parvo/distemper series of shots, rabies if dog is old enough, bordatello, heartworm preventative while here, worming, and microchipping.

We appreciate your patience as our volunteer-only team reviews your application and updates our website.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Morgan, a Charlotte Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
