My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Eevee and I'm looking for my very own hero. Friends of Rescue found me in a shelter in pretty bad shape. I was so skinny, covered in fleas, and had injuries to my face and mouth. Luckily, my foster mom saw past all that and gave me a chance. Now, my tummy is full, the fleas are gone, and my injuries are healed. The one thing that I've never had and am still looking for is a home of my very own that I can grow old in. The beginning of my life was full of pain and loneliness but my foster mom promises that I've got great times ahead of me. She says that the right person will come along and see my beautiful heart and make me the happiest kitty in the world.

Sometimes I still get a little nervous because of my past but every day I learn to be more comfortable and relaxed. One of my very favorite things is canned cat food and my foster mom gives me a small can every evening as a snack. As soon as she goes to the cabinet, I know what's coming and I meow and run to my dining spot. If you scratch my face or neck, I'll close my eyes and purr loudly. When I think no one is looking, I chase my tail and my shadow. I love my tiny mouse toys and any toy that dangles. Of course, I make plenty of time for napping, too!

I am spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. I am fostered in Madison Alabama, but am not too fussy about where I end up, as long as I'm an inside cat and loved.
To adopt me, please fill out an application at www.forrescue.net/cat-application. It doesn’t bind you to anything, it’s just where the nice folks at Friends of Rescue like to start the process.
