Trench's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Trench's Story...
Trench fka Prince is a magnificent boy who lost his home when his dad dies and then was dumped by the family in a high kill shelter. Trench was immediately put on the list to die because he is diabetic! He is only 3 years old and was going to lose his life because of a medical issue that is easily controlled with 2 injections a day! Along with a good diet Trench will have a very long life and bring much joy to whomever is the lucky person to get to have him in their family. We also think there may be a bit of special-ness in Trench. He's not the brightest bulb in the chandelier. But to know him is to just love him.
Trench is good with other dogs but can be a bit pushy with them when he wants to play. He loves nice walks and is doggy door trained too! He's learned how to go up and down stairs and is starting to act like the silly Chin he is meant to be! Trench is on the bigger side at around 15 lbs. He's looking for someone to be kind to him and give him a chance.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trench, a Freeport Japanese Chin dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Japanese Chin for sale in Freeport, or seeking a Japanese Chin dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Japanese Chin breeders who help with Japanese Chin rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
