If you look closely (or maybe with just a glance) you can see Ripley's dreadlocks on his ears. Since Ripley is currently being boarded, he has not received a proper grooming, but we plan to have this done as soon as possible. Another item we keep forgetting is that Ripley is at very least mostly deaf. There are moments when he reacts to certain sounds or vibrations. Most of the time, though, Ripley cannot hear even the most basic sounds. The upside to this, Ripley is very quiet himself and a very deep sleeper. He is being treated for a fairly severe ear infection, so there may be some improvement after the course of his medication.
Ripley is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, and microchipped. He is also housebroken and crate trained.
If you would like to offer Ripley a foster or forever home please complete an adoption application on our website at www.pawswapofgreaterlafayette.com/adopting. His adoption fee is $150.

Other organizations are rescue groups run by busy volunteers who may take a while to reply.
