Jett's Story...
My name is Jett and I'm a 1 year old Plott Hound/Mountain Cur cross. I'm 45 lbs, very good-natured, affectionate, great with other dogs (not sure about cats), love to play with my toys and have a high level of curiosity and energy. At my foster home, I have a very large, wooded, fenced back yard to investigate and run and get my energy out. I know to go out the doggie door when I have to go to the bathroom. I also like to go for walks and do very well on a leash. I currently reside with 2 other big hounds, as well as a few little Dachshunds. My heart is made of gold and I may want to curl up right next to you, to show you my love. My foster mom has me stay in my crate when she is at work and I do great, as long as I get my play time when you get home. Could I be the perfect dog for you and your lifestyle?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jett, a Roswell Plott Hound/Mountain Cur dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Plott Hound/Mountain Cur for sale in Roswell, or seeking a Plott Hound/Mountain Cur dog from a breeder in Roswell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roswell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roswell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Plott Hound/Mountain Cur breeders who help with Plott Hound/Mountain Cur rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roswell paves the way for another one to be saved.
