Bubba's Story...
If you're not saying Hubba Hubba as you look at your screen right now....well, what is wrong with you!? Feast your eyes on our gorgeous hunk of a gentle giant, Bubba. At just over 4 year old and 145 pounds, and the biggest noggin we have ever seen (and maybe the biggest heart too!), he is the true definition of a gentle giant. Bubba is looking or a home where he will get to romp around with his family in his very own yard, play with toys, and also enjoy some cuddle time on the couch. Bubba has done well with dogs that he's met, is afraid of cats, and would do best with "studier" children as he could easily knock a wee one over in his excitement. Nothing would make us happier than to see our big ol' lug in a home that showers him with attention and adventures, but will also understand his strength and stubbornness and continue to work with him on basic training. Bubba is housebroken, crate trained, up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped, and will be neutered prior to adoption. If you are interested in adding this magnificent boy to your family, please apply at omdrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bubba, a Bristol Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Bristol, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in Bristol.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bristol already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bristol breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bristol paves the way for another one to be saved.
