Lucy*'s Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Lucy*'s Story...
Lucy was fixed as part of a TNR project and returned to her colony. But she decided she liked life inside after all! She's about 4 months old and very sweet, purrs the second you pick her up. She would do best in a home with another cat as she adores them! But she can go solo as long as her new humans give her lots of attention.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy*, a Brooklyn American Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
