My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cuddling and chasing her brother Cayenne around are Sage's two favorite things to do. Running around outside never gets old with this one. She would spend all day rolling and running around if she could. She's a bit timid with new people & animals, definitely more a shy soul. But the most sweat personality ever. She warms up quickly when you give her a little love. Squeaky toys are her favorite! Potty training is going good, she knows that outside is where you need to go & is learning quickly. At her foster mom's house the teepee is her favorite place to nap. She likes to keep her bother out. NO BOYS ALLOWED;) She;s a special one and will make someone a happy human!

Sage is one of the 'Spice Litter Pups' and was rescued as part of our "Clear the Shelter Campaign" when Dolly's Legacy rescued every animal from a rural Oklahoma shelter, all whom were slated to be killed. She was born approximately 8-8-16. There are 11 pups in this litter and appear to have multiple fathers as there is quite a difference among the pups in appearance; we do not know their breeds as we do not know who the dad(s) are or who mom is. They are likely a mix of many different breeds. We do not know how big they will grow to be. We do our best to determine the breed(s) they most closely resemble for posting purposes. The Spice Pups were flown to our rescue from Oklahoma by rescue pilots through Pilots N Paws and are ready to start the next chapter in their lives with families of their own.

Sage is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, given flea/tick preventative & dewormed. Adoption fee is $400. The FIRST step is to have you complete our online adoption application. All adoption appointments are scheduled AFTER your application has been approved.
