Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Daphne is a small beagle mix who was too cute to leave in the shelter. She is not much older than 1 and has already found herself abandoned. She is a very slender girl at 13+ inches and weighing 18 pounds. Daphne had a mild case of mange that is clearing up quickly, with only a thin spot on the top of her head.
Daphne has never had an accident in the house and learned to use the dog door without any problems. For a young girl, Daphne has good house manners and restricts her chewing to items belonging to the pack. She is crate trained and runs into her crate quickly at meal time, but has been trusted to be out at night and for short periods during the day without incident.
Whoever said that big personalities come in small packages had this girl in mind! She loves to play and has no fear of the big boys. She takes them all on when she is in the mood to wrestle. Daphne can dial it back a notch when she is playing with shy little Mandy. Daphne has a knack for bringing out the puppy in everyone in the pack! She will do best in a home with a canine companion so she does not have to spend her days alone.
Best of all Daphne loves being around people and has never met a stranger. She will fly into your lap without warning for a cuddle when the mood sticks her. She would love to sleep on the big bed with you at night, but is very content to sleep on a dog bed or a chair in the master bedroom. Daphne is sweet and loving and will make a wonderful addition to some lucky family.
