BOBBIE ANN IS A YORKIE POO MIX!

11/11/16 - Bobbie Ann is doing great. She has actually adapted to her new name (given to her in honor of one of our former members that has gone to keep watch over the rainbow bridge yorkies). But, just like a typical yorkie, will come when called when she wants.

She has picked up how to sit for a treat and absolutely loves toys......and shoes. Lol She is getting along fine with the cats in the foster home and the other dogs, for the most part. She will play with them, but also gets jealous if one of the others tries to get close to foster mom. So, that will need to be watched and corrected so as not to let her get too spoiled and become an alpha. She is young, and this is the time to correct it.

She is typical puppy when running and barking in the backyard and through the house. This girl knows how to have fun. She will bark at household noises, and sometimes her own reflection, so she would probably do better in a home with a fenced yard and not an apartment.

She is getting used to using pee pads as well as going outside, but is still young and a yorkie, so will make mistakes. She is definitely a licker. Will lick your face clean. We wouldn’t call her a tomboy 100%, but she is not a fan of clothes and just likes to go La’ Natural. She also hates a bath, but this has to happen. Lol This girl is too busy to be prissy. She has learned the ramp to the bed at her foster home and is in heaven sleeping in the big bed with foster mom and the other pups.

She has a very good appetite and cleans her bowl out twice a day in record time. She will definitely need to go to a home with NO children. She showed us her DISLIKE for them when her foster mom’s grandchildren came over and she barked, growled and shook like a leaf while they were there. After her experience in her first home, this is totally understandable.

She is scheduled to be spayed on Friday, November 18th and we will update more after that time.

This precious little angel deserves a home where she will be deeply loved and completely spoiled, and we will make sure that is exactly what she gets.

10/25/16 - Bobbie Ann came to Yorkie Haven after she was surrendered to a local vet when one of the children in her previous home dropped her. For the first couple days, she would not walk, but is doing better now. Her foster mom is still keeping her on strict crate rest under doctors orders. Under these circumstances, it is hard to learn Bobbie Ann’s personality, but in the weeks to come, I’m sure her foster mom will find out enough so that we can post more than the condition in which we received this sweet baby girl.
