Kody's Story...

Just look at this Handsome Boy. "Kody" is a precious, mild-mannered, kind and gentle 2 year old Spitz (likely mix).  Kody was rescued from the Apple Valley Shelter where he was picked up after running from the fireworks on the 4th of July.  Kody's family never came for him.  Kody is neutered, microchipped, fully vetted, vaccinated and ready for his FurEver Family..... This boy is a gorgeous fluff ball around 18 lbs.  He is quiet, gets along great with other dogs, and walks well on a leash, but he is very scared of loud bangs and noises and acts sometimes like someone has hit him with his food bowl :(    So he must go to a home that is quiet and sensitive to his needs around the 4th of July.   For more information, please Contact GreenDog Foundation at 951-609-0765 or email us at greendogfoundation@gmail.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kody, a Capistrano Beach Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pomeranian for sale in Capistrano Beach, or seeking a Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Capistrano Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Capistrano Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Capistrano Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pomeranian breeders who help with Spitz (Unknown Type, Medium)/Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Capistrano Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
