Chita's Story...
My name is Chita and I am a little girl with lots of personality. I can be a little shy at first but if you are nice to me and have a little patience and talk sweetly to me I will be your best friend. And you will know I am happy because I purr---a lot. I purr when I am happy, when you look at me, when I am getting ready to eat, when you scratch my chin, when you give me kisses…pretty much anytime is a good time to purr in my book. But don’t think I am a pushover. I have just the right amount of attitude to make me just a little sassy.

Chita is up to date on his shots/spayed-neutered/microchipped

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chita, a Huntsville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
