Facts about Maisy

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Tortoiseshell
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
Maisy is a beautiful muted tortoiseshell with short hair and slim build. Her markings and coloration are amazing.
Maisy is young and so sweet. She started out life in a colony living outside. The person who was feeding the colony got sick and had to leave and suddenly Maisy, and her family, was without any support. But Maisy made it through until we could get her, and she has made it so clear that she is grateful and happy to have a home and loving human to be her very own. She will be a devoted and loving companion and member of a happy family. She is fine with other nice cats and would enjoy feline company. About a year old and wonderful.

About Clear Creek Cat Rescue - Wasilla

About Our Rescue Group...

Clear Creek Cat Rescue is a group of individuals in Alaska dedicated to rescuing cats in need, giving them care, rehabilitation if needed, and finding happy homes for them. We each give what we can to help these cats get through this most unfortunate time in their lives when they have been taken to the pound or are otherwise lost and homeless. Some of us share our homes with these cats while they are waiting for their forever family, some transport them from place to place, some host adoption fairs, take pictures, post ads. Some offer financial help. We each do what we can to help. And through this dedicated group of people, more than a thousand cats have been saved and found loving homes.
In 2013, we rescued and rehomed approximately 420 cats.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We have weekly adoptions fairs in Anchorage each Saturday and in Wasilla at the Wasilla Petzoo either Saturday or Sunday. Our cats are also available for adoption from their foster homes.

Our Adoption Process...

We require that adopters sign our adoption contract and a no-declawing agreement. There is an adoption fee. Most adult cats are $60 except for those who are sponsored or part of a special. Kittens under 6 months are $100. All adults are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Kittens under 4 or 5 months are not fixed, but the adopter must sign an agreement to spay/neuter the kitten by the age of 6 months.
