Maggie's Story...
Hiya! My name is Maggie! I'm a spunky 12 year old gal and I'm looking for a new family. Don't let my age fool you. I love to run around and play fetch with people. Frisbees and balls are my favorite toys! I would do well in a home with kids. I don't like cats and would probably only get along with smaller, older, or calmer dogs. If you think I'd be a good match for your family please come meet me today at the Lowell Humane Society.

If you are interested in adopting please visit the shelter or you may inquire via email - info@lowellhumanesociety.org or call 978-452-7781.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Lowell Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever for sale in Lowell, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Lowell.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Lowell already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Lowell breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Lowell paves the way for another one to be saved.
