Eli's Story...
Can you see me now? Did you know there's a syndrome called "black animal syndrome" going on across the US? It's like they are "invisible", and people tend to look over them, therefor more are euthanized. We are praying that wont be the case for our black animals. Meet Eli (259657-16)! She's a 2 year old Terrier mix. She weighs in at only 33 lbs, so would make the perfect small dog. She has been with us since May of last year, when she was brought in as a stray. This sweet girl would love nothing more than to find her true furever home. She tested NEGATIVE for heartworms on 8/20/16. She's also up to date on her DHPP & KC vaccines until 5/28/17. Her Rabies vaccintaion is up to date until 1/25/17, and she's already spayed. Her adoption fee is $80 which includes her spay, Rabies vaccine, DHPP & KC vaccines, heartworm check, and microchip. Please note anyone wanting to adopt MUST still go through the adoption application process. THERE ARE NO PULL FEE'S FOR APPROVED RESCUES!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Eli, a Madionsville Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Madionsville, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Madionsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madionsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madionsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madionsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
