Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sky's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.

Sky's Story...
Sky was a very special rescue. This girl had a pretty hard beginning at life. Found as a stray with an embedded collar and no one coming forward for her, she was going to be put down. She was saved from a high kill shelter and then left behind by an unscrupulous fake rescue at a veterinarian. Many came to her aid and tried to get her safe but was sent back to that same shelter with her life at risk again. We decided she needed our help. With all this, we have found that she is too intense with cats so they could be at risk, as could small dogs. We are looking for a savvy new owner that would love all the wiggles and licks she has to give but will take the time needed to train her. She has been handled safely around other dogs but isn't one for a softy, she needs a leader. Are you that? She will be an awesome partner if you are.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sky, a Grants Pass American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Grants Pass, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Grants Pass.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grants Pass already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grants Pass breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grants Pass paves the way for another one to be saved.
