Marnie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Marnie's Story...
Marnie is a 3 year old 18 pound Lhasa Apso/Maltese mix who was used as a backyard breeding dog in East LA. When her owners did not want her anymore they left her at the shelter and told them that she was dog aggressive.

When our volunteers met her at the shelter they found that she was extremely friendly and showed signs of being abused. Marnie is a very sweet dog and gets along well with other dogs off leash. Marnie has received training on how to better socialize with other dogs on leash as she becomes nervous and was not properly trained by her owners.

She will need an owner who can continue to work with her and to build up her confidence. In the home Marnie loves to follow you around, cuddle, and is extremely loyal and gentle. Marnie is spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated.

If you are interested in Marnie, please complete the on-line application as she does not always attend the weekly adoption event on Saturdays at PETCO.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marnie, a Studio City Lhasa Apso dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Lhasa Apso for sale in Studio City, or seeking a Lhasa Apso dog from a breeder in Studio City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Studio City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Studio City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Lhasa Apso breeders who help with Lhasa Apso rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Studio City paves the way for another one to be saved.
