Tuco Salamanca's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Tuco Salamanca's Story...
Tuco is an adorable "Pit Cake" (Pit Bull and Pot Cake mix), who had a horrible start at life when he was consisted by authorities all the way in Grenada, West Indies. All of his litter mates died, except for his brother Skinny Pete, who also flew to the USA and was adopted. Tuco is a typical puppy who loves everyone and playing with all of the other puppies he is currently fostered with. He is very treat motivated, which will make training a breeze. No couch potatoes please. We are looking for a patient home, who is willing to deal with the normal puppy phases.
Tuco loves riding in the car, playing with stuffed animals, and he is currently teething, and loves to chew on fingers and toes!
If you would like to meet Tuco, please go to our website and read about the process and apply for Tuco at www.furkidrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuco Salamanca, a Pittsburgh Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Pittsburgh, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Pittsburgh.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pittsburgh already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pittsburgh breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pittsburgh paves the way for another one to be saved.
