Amelia's Info...

I am already spayed, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Amelia's Story...
Amelia is a 4 month old playful and affectionate kitten who has tested positive for FIV. She is healthy now but any potential adopters will need to keep this in mind when considering adopting her. More information about FIV can be found here https://www.petfinder.com/cats/cat-health/feline-immunodeficiency-virus/

There is a $140 adoption fee to cover the cost of vet care. All of our kittens are dewormed, tested for FIV/FELV, spayed/neutered and given rabies and distemper vaccinations. Many of the kittens also require vet visits and medications for upper respiratory infections or other minor medical problems while in our care.

If you are interested in adopting you can fill out an adoption application here https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B73gJd25EiKpVzJ6Q3daOE5iMEU/view?usp=sharing and email it back to wotnvr@gmail.com or just email wotnvr@gmail.com for more information.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Amelia, a West Orange Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in West Orange, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in West Orange.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in West Orange already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a West Orange breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in West Orange paves the way for another one to be saved.
