Emma's Story...
Emma had a hard start as a neglected, continuously breeding Momma dog.  Poor girl never got to be a puppy as she was raising puppies all her life!  Thats changed! Emma now has the run of a large property, plenty of dogs to play with, a couple of kids and a life as an indoor dog who came come, go, run, and play as she pleases!  And she is ....S-P-A-Y-E-D - - so she can focus on her skills as a house dog and never have to think about being a momma dog again!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Emma, a Huntington Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
