Facts about Zubat

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Black (All)
  • Age: Young
  • Sex: Male
  • ID#: 16-0719
  • Hair: Short
Well, what rhymes with Zubat? How about “Perfect Cat”! And that is exactly what we think about Zubat. He is a great combination of all his brothers (Abra, Kakuna, and Meowth) as he loves to sit in your lap and cuddle and give kisses, but he also LOVES chasing toys, running around, and exploring his surroundings. Also like his brothers, Zubat is too active and social to be a solo cat. He will be bored (and get into trouble) without a play buddy. If you don’t already have an active cat at home to be his friend, then certainly consider one of his awesome brothers. Oh and if you haven't guessed already, Zubat is part of the “Pokemon Dozen” all rescued from a rural shelter in one day. These 4 brothers were the only ones not adopted on the infamous Clear the Shelter Day back in July. It all came down to being black cats as they are loaded with personality and charm. Adopt Zubat and he promises to reward his new family with all the entertainment, cuddles, hugs, and kisses they could possibly want.

About Humane Tomorrow

About Our Rescue Group...

Humane Tomorrow is a non-profit 501(c), all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue and placement of unwanted and abused animals in Flower Mound and the surrounding areas. We are also committed to spay/neuter assistance and education to companion animal guardians.

We do not have a shelter, so all animals in our program are placed in temporary foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Come Meet Our Pets...

We do not have a shelter but you can learn more about us by visiting "Humane Tomorrow."

We have Adopt A Pets on the second and forth Saturday each month at

Petsmart in Flower Mound.

6060 Long Prairie Road (Hwy. 2499)

Flower Mound, Texas 75028

We also have AdoptAPurrs (cats only) at Petsmart each Sunday AFTER an Adopt A Pet.

Going North on Hwy.2499, the Petsmart will be on the right,
just before Justin Road (FM407)

You can see all our animals there or, if you find an animal you just can't wait to see, call or E-mail for an appointment.

Our Adoption Process...

All potential adopters must fill out an application for the animal they want to adopt, which is available on our website. Humane Tomorrow does not do adoptions outside of the DFW Metroplex.

Our adoption fees are...
$120 for kittens & cats
$140 for declawed cats
$100 for senior cats (10 yrs +)

$200 for puppies and dogs
$175 for senior dogs (senior depends on breed and size)
Note that some dogs may have higher adoption fees if they are very adoptable or "designer" breeds

This adoption fee helps to cover the costs of basic preventative care including spay or neuter, vaccines (including Rabies and virals), heartworm tests and preventative for dogs, FeLV/FIV tests for cats, in addition to extra medical care the animal may need, such as heartworm treatment, dental, or surgery. Often our adoption fees do not even cover costs for basic medical care the animals need, and are certainly cheaper than if all these procedures were covered by the owner.

Humane Tomorrow reserves the right to deny any application for any reason.
