Cheech's Story...
My name is Cheech and I can hardly wait to meet you. I'm a spunky 1.5 year old 9 pound male Chihuahua/terrier mix who is looking for my forever home. I have yet to meet a stranger and I get along great with my foster brothers and sisters, both big and small. I sleep quietly in my crate during the night and when my foster family is away. I am housebroken and know how to use the doggy door. They tell me I'm hilarious to watch play as I love to roll under my fosters brothers as well as jumping over them. They only 'think' they're faster than me. I'm a sweet and good natured boy. I will make an all around great family member for just about any situation. For more on how to adopt adorable me, please email info@habitat4paws.org.

**Because we require home visits, we only adopt local to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. For more on our adoption policies, please see the Adopt page of our website, www.habitat4paws.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cheech, a McKinney Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in McKinney, or seeking a Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in McKinney.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McKinney already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McKinney breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Chihuahua/Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McKinney paves the way for another one to be saved.
