My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

IDGSR welcomes Storm into the safety of the rescue!!!

Storm is a handsome male German Shepherd who is approximately 3 yr. old and came to the rescue with his brothers Thunder and Lightning. All of them had spent their whole lives living in an outside kennel with no shelter, no veterinary care and insufficient food. Like his brothers Storm was quite skinny at first but that's all changed for him now. He is in a loving foster home where he's eating good healthy food and living indoors for the first time in his life. Storm is a little bit of a Velcro dog and gets attached very easily especially with other dogs. He loves his foster mom and dad and was very good with older children who visited. Storm is the kind of dog who needs to come to people first when he is ready. He will need a patient adopter who understands this and can work with him on it. Storm would do best in a quieter home without a lot of commotion. He would love to be with someone who works from home or is home a lot. Storm has come an amazingly long way from a skinny and scared dog to a dog who has learned he can love and trust people.

If you would like to make Storm a part of your family, please copy the link and fill out an application.
