Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Diamond is a gentle gem. She's a 9 year old Beagle mix that was surrendered to Friendship because her owner travels for work and does not have time for her. Diamond was his mother's dog. She is good with house training as long as she is kept on schedule. She lived with an older lab, and was friendly and playful with him. Diamond has not been with cats. She has a condition of chronic-dry eye and needs drops put in them periodically. New owners should be cautious with young children due to her age--she may be cranky and nip if tugged or pulled. She likes to chill and rest a lot. Diamond would be a great companion for a senior or someone that needs a friend.
If you have kids and/or another dog in your family and are interested in adopting a Friendship dog please bring them with you for a meet and greet. No appointment is necessary. Stop by anytime during regular business hours.
All dogs receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are wormed, heartworm tested and spayed or neutered. Dogs 3 months and older are micro-chipped.
