My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ace has got to be one of the sweetest, most gentle cats I have ever seen. He is listed as special needs because he is vision impaired.....he can never be an out side cat due to his limited vision. He has no eye in his right socket and limited vision in his left eye.......He has a sad story with happy ending! He was trapped, neutered and released back outside....that's when my phone rang telling me of this travesty. So Ace was brought to me where he is well loved and well cared for. He, as you can see, loves the little kittens, no matter how annoying they may be at times...He is fully vetted and is in good health....He loves to be petted, and stroked and brushed.....he will eat a little wet food but does do well on a high quality dry food....Ice in his water every day to encourage him to drink. He is neat and clean and he is a very special boy. So, we are looking for a very special person and home for this boy....I would say he's only about a year old... So, If you think you might be that special person for this special cat, then email me and you can fill out an application. He is Aces.....thus the name!

You may obtain an online application by logging on to CatAdoptionRI.org or by emailing catadoptionteam@aol.com. All of the cats and kittens are placed with the Rhode Island State mandated proof of spay or neuter. In order to take your new cat or kitten home with you, there must be an approved application prior to any placement. Application approval is usually within 24-48 hours. We, at CATS, are very proud of all of the cats and kittens that we help facilitate finding new forever homes, and work very hard to make sure they are happy, healthy and well socialized. All of the cats and kittens are fed only a high end cat food. We are at the Providence Petco, located at 585 N. Main Street, Providence, RI most Sundays from 10 am to 2 pm and you are welcome to come by and see all the cats and kittens that are looking for new 'Forever Homes'.
Hard copy medical records accompany each cat and kitten. Each cat or kitten is completely vetted prior to their placed. The policy is that all of our cats and kittens will be placed spayed or neutered, tested for feline aids/leukemia, and have all age appropriate shots. There will not be any placement of any cat or kitten that has not been spayed or neutered first. There will be no exceptions. This means that there is less out of pocket costs for people who adopt a cat or kitten from us and you will be in 100% COMPLIANCE WITH THE SPAY/NEUTER LAW TOO!
