TJ's Story...
TJ and his sister Paco were born outside to a feral mama cat. They've lived a sheltered life in a backyard gazebo, cared for by a nice lady who befriended them. Both are very shy with new people, having only really known her. They come when she calls them and love to be near her. Unfortunately, their caretaker now has to move so Paco and TJ need to find a special new home where they can be safe and loved. It'll take them some time to adjust to new people, but these two sweet kitties deserve a chance.

TJ, short for Tiger Jr, is very long and tall, with very long whiskers and round, bright green eyes. At 4 and a half years of age, he weighs about 10 pounds and has been neutered. TJ is a very loving cat. He loves to sit on his person's lap and purr and make “biscuits”. He likes to be held and loved on. He also likes rubbing up against her legs. TJ has a few nicknames: Teej, Sweet Boy, Bud, Buddy, Boy Cat.

TJ, a Arlington/Ft Worth Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Arlington/Ft Worth, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Arlington/Ft Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington/Ft Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington/Ft Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington/Ft Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
