MORE INFO ABOUT ME:
Here we go,,,,it's my turn to tell you alllll about ME!!! My name is ZEKE, I'm a solid 46 lb young 2 year old fun loving, playful and snuggly guy. You may be interested to hear how I ended up in rescue? Well, the county dog warden received a call about a shivering dog that had been left alone in a dog kennel with no shelter in the cold rain (that was me!). So, they hurried out to see what was up. They "convinced" my old owner to let me go with them and well.....it's been ALL GOOD since then!! I am currently being fostered with 2 other dogs (a 80 lb boy and a 65 lb gal) and we are having a BLAST playing with each other!! Foster Mom is thrilled that I love all dogs of all sizes and kids??? Well, they are awesome too!!! Cats?? Ummmmm, not so much! So if you have felines it would be best for you to check out one of the other kitty-lovin dogs in the rescue! I am crate trained and am doing WONDERFUL with my potty habits. But you must keep in mind that a new home brings new schedules and floor layouts so patience and consistency are key with keeping me on track in that department. There are so many great things about me where do I start?? Well for one, I am way past that "chewing everything in sight" stage which foster Mom thinks is a real plus. I love playing fetch and have just recently learned it is much more effective and fun if i actually RETURN the ball to foster Mom so she can throw it again!! lol I have no aggression at all,,,,not with food or toys. I have already learned how to "sit" and we are working on "stay" right now. I must tell you that I love to run!! If you have a fenced in yard that would be a definite plus for both of us (not mandatory however). But, if you do not have a fenced yard i will have to be taken out on a leash because if I see a small creature (cat, squirrel, etc) it's ALL ABOUT THE CHASE!! which will leave you chasing me!! Don't get me wrong, I would love a family that takes walks, hikes, runs, bikes but i would have to be tethered to you for your own sanity and my own safety. Now, let's get to the absolute best part about me I LOVE TO SNUGGLE!! After I am exercised out the favorite part of my day is curling up with my foster mom or dad and napping as closely as possible to them. I should warn you that I have a slight snoring issue which some find "cute" while others,,,,not so much! lol So, overall I am about the best, most appreciative, fun loving, affectionate boy you would want to make part of your family!! Holy Cow, I almost forgot my most endearing physical trait....MY ADORABLE UNDEBITE!! In true boxer/bulldog fashion, there it is for all to admire!! If all the above sounds good to you then take a few minutes and fill out that application so we can meet!! love, zeke xoxoxo
