JULIE's Story...
Meet the beautiful Julie! She has a really pretty light colored coat and stunning eyes. She is about a year old and weighs 51 lbs. Julie was turned into the shelter by her previous owner on 10/27/16 and it looks as if she just weaned a litter. We hope the puppies found loving homes, but unfortunately their momma was dumped like she didn't matter at the shelter. It's her turn now to find her happy ending. She is reported to be GOOD WITH KIDS. She is current on her vaccines and now spayed, heartworm tested negative and will be micro chipped when adopted. Julie's ID # is 589983 and she can be found in run 52.

When calling the shelter about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER, the names are oftentimes made up by volunteers.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

JULIE, a Marietta Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
